1. Booking and Payment
• A deposit of 30% of the total trekking cost is required to secure your booking.
• The remaining balance must be paid before the trek begins.
• Payments can be made via bank transfer or other agreed methods. Proof of payment must be sent to our team.
2. Cancellation and Refund Policy
• Cancellations made 30 days or more before the trek will receive a full refund of the deposit.
• Cancellations made 15 to 29 days before the trek will receive a 50% refund of the deposit.
• Cancellations made less than 15 days before the trek are non-refundable.
• In cases of force majeure (e.g., natural disasters, extreme weather, or government regulations), Rinjani Explorer reserves the right to reschedule or cancel the trek. Refunds will be considered based on the situation.
3. Health and Fitness Requirements
• Participants must be in good physical condition and free from any medical conditions that could pose risks during the trek.
• Any medical conditions or allergies must be disclosed to Rinjani Explorer prior to the trek.
• Rinjani Explorer reserves the right to deny participation if a participant is deemed unfit for the trek.
4. Guides and Safety
• All treks are led by experienced guides and supported by skilled porters who prioritize your safety and comfort.
• Participants must follow the instructions of the guides at all times. Non-compliance may result in the termination of the trek without a refund.
• Basic safety equipment is provided, but participants are encouraged to bring their own first-aid kits and personal medications.
5. Equipment and Preparation
• Rinjani Explorer provides essential trekking equipment, including tents, sleeping bags, and cooking supplies.
• Participants are responsible for personal items such as clothing, toiletries, and appropriate footwear.
• A packing list will be provided upon booking confirmation to help participants prepare adequately.
6. Environmental Responsibility
• Participants are required to adhere to the Leave No Trace principles, ensuring no littering or environmental damage.
• Rinjani Explorer is committed to eco-friendly practices and encourages respect for local flora, fauna, and cultural heritage.
7. Liability
• Rinjani Explorer is not responsible for personal injuries, illness, loss, or damage to personal belongings during the trek.
• Participants are advised to obtain travel insurance that covers trekking activities and emergencies.
8. Itinerary Changes
• Rinjani Explorer reserves the right to modify or adjust the itinerary due to unforeseen circumstances, such as weather conditions, natural disasters, or safety concerns.
• Any changes will be communicated promptly, and alternative arrangements will be made if necessary.
9. Force Majeure
• Rinjani Explorer is not responsible for delays, cancellations, or disruptions caused by events beyond our control, such as natural disasters, pandemics, or government regulations.
